Dover Race Report
Clint Bowyer Race Summary: No. 15 5-hour ENERGY Toyota driver Clint Bowyer finished sixth in Sunday’s 400-mile NASCAR Sprint Cup race at Dover International Speedway. Bowyer started 15th and fought an ill-handling car most of the race. During each pit stop crew chief Brian Pattie made major adjustments to make his driver comfortable. Some good strategy moved Bowyer to third with only 19 laps left in the race. Bowyer battled at the front and held on the for the sixth-place finish. The finish was Bowyer’s seventh top-10 in 13 races in 2013 and moved him to third in the driver standings. The No. 15 5-hour ENERGY Toyota team returns to action next weekend at Pocono Raceway.

BOWYER: “Not very good, but we got a pretty decent finish. We just didn’t run very good all weekend long. Definitely need to go back and do our homework and figure some things out for our 5-hour ENERGY Toyota.”
